Scientific Contributions

All those who wish to submit a scientific contribution (oral or poster communication) are kindly requested to send an abstract to the secretariat by June 30, 2017. It should be prepared using the following indications.


The template to be used is Abstract Template.doc.

The abstract should be saved in .docx (MS Word), specifying in the file name the name and surname of the author and the type of communication (oral or poster) and, in case of more than one contribution, a progressive number should be inserted (e.g. SurnameName_Oral.docx, SurnameName_Poster1.docx, SurnameName_Poster2.docx).

The .docx file should be sent as an attachment to the e-mail address:



Poster Format: 80 cm wide x 120 cm high (maximum size).

The necessary to affix the posters will be provided by the Organizing Committee.


Oral Communications

The lenght of each Oral Communication will be 20' (15’ + 5’).

A projector connected with a PC working with the operating system MS Windows will be available.
The presentation should be prepared in MS PowerPoint and saved in a USB key.
The use of the PC provided by the organizers is strongly recommended; however, if needed, speakers may use their own computer, provided they have their own connectors (eg HDMI-VGA adaptor etc).


Special Issue

Selected papers based on oral and poster presentations at the conference will be published in the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry after standard peer review.

The deadline of submission is November 30, 2017.
